Westlake Joint Board of Homeowner Associations, Inc.

www.WestlakeJointBoard.org

In 1975, a group of 40 homeowner associations (HOAs) in the Westlake Village area of Los Angeles and Ventura counties established the Westlake Joint Board of Homeowners Associations, commonly called the Westlake Joint Board.

In 1990 the Westlake Joint Board became incorporated as a nonprofit corporation, organized under the nonprofit public benefit corporation law for public and charitable purposes.

For the last 30 years, the Westlake Joint Board has regularly met to discuss areas of common interest that affect the greater Westlake area and associated homeowner communities.  We successfully promote the common good and general welfare of the people of the community and establish guidelines for conducting discussions and courses of action in matters of mutual concern.

We're proud of what we do including:

- Provide a unified voice for the Westlake Communty
- Represent the homeowner associations at City Hall
- Assist to enforce CCandRs
- Interact and coordinate with developers (when possible) to achieve a satisfactory accommodation of the rights and interests of developers and homeowners, who are or may be affected by proposed developments in ways such as housing, air quality, education, traffic, energy resources, the environment and the like.

Meetings

Each of our meetings is attended by City Council Representatives from the cities of Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks who share current issues and concerns.

Presentations are also made by a variety of invited speakers on subjects of interest to the community.  Delegates have the opportunity to ask questions and let their concerns be known.  This give and take is beneficial, as City Council representatives are able to be sure we get accurate information, and they in turn will understand our concerns.

Our meetings are open to the public and all homeowners are invited to attend.  We meet the fourth Thursday of designated months (usually every other month), at 7:30 PM, at the North Ranch Community Center, 1400 North Westlake Blvd.
